could swear Kirstie Alley in Hurricane episode...?

can't find any info---but does anyone remember the "Hurricane" episode where they're all stuck in an inn during an unexpected hurricane, and one woman on the tour group keeps having visions?

it looks like Kirstie doesn't have anything listed before 1978 and the show ended in 1973?

the girl who's character, Kerri keeps seeing visions (a tree crashing through the wall of the inn), of herself dead, and people rising up out of graves (this stuff would've given me nightmares as a child)

whoever the actress is, looks so much like her, ah well...

With the pale blue eyes? That's Meg Foster, and that was an episode of "The Sixth Sense" that they re-edited to combine with "Night Gallery" for syndication.

I always wanted to see Foster and Alley play sisters.

Annoying the world since 1960!

reply

Oh, yes! They'd be perfectly paired as sisters. Maybe in a "Baby Jane" remake.

Meg Foster was stunning. I remember Public Broadcasting in the 1970's did a miniseries of The Scarlet Letter where she played Hester Prynne.

That was where I first saw her. I think I had a certain...biological response...upon seeing her. 

And she was the original Christine Cagney on "Cagney & Lacey". Never did understand the need to recast her with Sharon Gless.

reply

Audiences thought Foster looked too butch (remember, this was the Eighties). Gless presented a more feminine image.

Well, they're entitled to their opinion, of course. But the girl who appeared in "The Sixth Sense" to my eyes was an absolutely angelic beauty.

reply

She was just stunning. I remember she was a regular in the TV series Sunshine, which only had 1 season. She was wonderful in that. And her eyes were just amazingly translucent.
