When scoring a touchdown, does only the ball have to cross the plain or can you put your leg or arm in. Can you put your arm over the plain without the ball ever crossing? Will it be a touchdown?

And thats the bottom line because stone cold said so.

The ball has to cross the plain.

The ball merely has to cross the invisible verticle plain of the endzone. It can be so much as an inch or 2.
