Well, if those guys aren't straight out of Ninotchka (1939) or its remake Silk Stockings (1957), even down to a Peter Lorre-type character and working in a cheap cafe, then I don't know where they're from.

Uh, yeah, but these characters are even more absurd. I can understand the framed patsy being an extreme social misfit, but the 3 other members of the quartet? I am sure all the classical musicians in America cringed at how they were being portrayed as nutty caricatures.
