Overlooked or Underrated Episodes

Mention the MTM Show and everyone remembers "Chuckles Bites the Dust". It's a classic episode for sure. But after viewing it once or twice, I just never laughed while watching it later. It seems to be a one joke episode.

I think there are many other overlooked episodes that were far funnier from beginning to end.

Season 2 had "Coverboy" when Ted's handsome brother comes to town. He's a model and played by Jack Cassidy with that killer smile, you can see why Ted is so envious of him. Of course, it turns out that both brothers have a raging sibling rivalry going on.
This episode also has one of those errors that makes me ask, "How did that happen?"

Ted begs Mary to pretend to be his girlfriend and he asks her to get a friend to double date with Hal. He asks, "How about your Israeli friend?" Clearly he means Rhoda.

After their date, Hal goes to Rhoda's apartment. Again Ted begs Mary to let him stay at her place for a while. While Mary's getting something in her closet, he calls Rhoda's apartment and asks Hal how things are going.
I always wonder, HOW did he know Rhoda's phone number?? He barely knew Rhoda!

Season 7- "The Critic" is hysterically funny from beginning to end. The station manager hires a critic played with a razor sharp, witty meanness by Eric Braeden. Criticizing restaurants and museums in the Twin Cities is fine with management. But when the critic gets critical of WJM that proves to be too much.
The ending has everyone at the station wanting to deck the guy, but it's Ted who gets in the final "hit" so to speak. If you've never seen, watch this episode.

So many overlooked little gems from this series. Anyone else have a favorite?
