it wasnt a dream

i loved this show as a kid ,i must have seen repeats of it as it aired on sunday mornings on a local station in bethesda maryland .this was in either 1977 or 1976.until i came on the imdb last year no one could confirm that this show existed .i would periodically mention it as my favorite childhood show and people would gape at me in disbelief not believing there was a show with live chimps dressed as secret agents and old chinese ladies.did lancelot climb into his couch to access his vehicle i seem to recall this .also i remember the dragon lady who lived on a chinese junk but i also recall another character whe dressed as an old lady with a black dress and a white handkerchief cap on her head i think she was also a villianess.anyway it was a great show at least in memory im going to try to find it on dvd.

I used to ask people if they remembered this show and they looked at me as if i were insane! It's interesting to note how our early memories sometimes decieve us into believing they WERE dreams. i used to catch this when it first came out and i was only 2 and 3 yrs old on the local tv station in Everett, Washington.
I rememebered the images of the chimps riding in these gold dune buggies. Crazy stuff.

I used to see this on Nick at Night when I was maybe 11 or so. My mom remembered it too, otherwise I could understand questioning your own sanity if no one else seemed to know what you were talking about. I think I'm going to send her the DVD for her birthday. I expect she'll get a kick out of it.
