Why was there only one season???
I LOVED this show as a kid..they should have made many more than 16 episodes.
Well there was another series of sorts,it was Josie and the Pussycats in Outerspace.

The Bugaloos was apparently popular, but by that time, the young cast members had all moved on, so it would be too difficult to bring everyone back together to make another season.
Only shows like Scooby Doo and Land of the Lost (I guess because the cast were all located in California) seemed to manage another season.
I don't know what the deal was with the cartoons tho. Speed Buggy only had the one season, but aired endlessly and has the distinction of airing on all three networks back then. If it was THAT popular, .....?
There are were lots of memorable and fun Hanna-Barbara Cartoons,Joise and the Pussycats being one of them but sadly on a few of their properties were truly successful(Tom and Jerry,Scooby Doo,Jetsons,Flinstones)
