Was his blood type. So is mine.

Something special about those with that blood type. Check it out sometime.

Universal donor. Do you give blood? When I was younger I gave blood every two months. It was something I could do to help my community.

I don't, no. Only because I don't weigh enough. I am far under 110 pounds, the minimum. Needles don't bother me either, so it would be easy as pie.

I have B- and only 1.5% of the population has B Negative blood. I can only take blood from O- and B-. The only type rarer than B- is AB-.

Exactly. You can receive two types of blood.
Having O Negative I can only ever receive that one type and nothing else.
So is always the most in demand.
