Who's YOUR favourite Goodie?

Personally, I love Tim the best, with his cute little British waistcoat and his cute little British speeches, and his breathtaking ability to make cute little speeches about England in his cute little waistcoat while looking wistfully into middle distance... Ah, how wonderful!

I'm dying of jealousy! I long to meet them, but chances seem remote given our respective locations...

You're so lucky! The closest I've come to meeting any of them is that I know someone who wrote a show about the Goodies for the Melbourne Fringe Festival. He met Tim and Graeme, told them about the show and was in correspondence with the two of them (Bill wasn't in it), and still writes letters to them.
And I didn't know the ABC showed them! Are the DVDs available at the ABC shop? Cos right now, the only Goodies sources I have are the Comedy Channel and you tube.

I've met 2 out of 3 Goodies, and have seen The Goodies live both with and without Bill. Graybags is my favourite. You make it sense know!!!!!

I have seen the Goodies DVDs in an ABC shop before. They have a collection of goodies which has six discs in it, and individual DVDs each with four episodes.

I can't choose one, because it is the combination that makes them great. The contrasts. As a child, Tim was my favourite.

Saw it first when I was about 12 and I had mad, wild crush on Graeme and the sideburns and glasses!

My favorite is the combination of all three. The combination is what makes it good. Sure they are all good one by one, but together they are "more than the sum of its parts".

It has to be Bill despite finding out many years later that he has had sporadic mental health problems for a lot of his life.

Its that man again!!

reply

I like all three but I like Graeme the best. He used to fish with my Grandfather up in the North of Scotland!
