Boring

I'm a big Burt fan. I can't get into this series. It just has no "energy" to it. Every episode moves at a snails pace.

I think Norman Fell is badly miscast and there is no chemistry between him and Burt (interesting that Burt doesn't mention him at all in his recent autobio). Ned Romero -- yawn.

I can't put my finger on it, but it just doesn't have a good "feel" to it. Is it possible they filmed it on "cheap' film? Maybe it's just the combination of direction, casting and music.

Burt just can't save this himself and sometimes he has a look on his face like he knows it.

P.S. In "Epitaph for a Swinger" - Richard Anderson does a shirtless scene in a boxing gym hitting a speed-bag. He clearly doesn't know how to hit a speed bag and he's in average shape (at best). Why the heck did they do this scene? Richard Anderson never plays the "hunk". It seems so out of place.

Norman Fell had the chemistry of a bucket of wet diarrhea falling on your head.

He was always the flat part of 3 company, and any other show he was in. He always looked like he was about to tell you that he had leprosy and it was contagious as he was hugging you.
