The Bugaloos is getting reboot, Stay tuned for updates

Hello, my friend attended Comic Con the last 3 years in a row. In 2015's Comic Con The Krofft Brothers told her that they were going to do an updated version of The Bugaloos that is geared toward preschoolers. In 2016's Comic Con my same friend attended last year's and asked about the updated Bugaloos series, She also asked about a possibility of having a original band reunion in regards to the new series and a fan event. The Krofft's dodged that question.

This year's (2017) comic con The Kroffts showed a teaser for the new Bugaloos series pilot that they created for Nickelodeon. The pilot as of now is unsold, but the visual effects for the new Bugaloos was awesome. It was really lifelike. I saw the live streaming of the Krofft Panel on the Krofft Facebook page. The costumes for the reboot were just cool and the kids playing The Bugaloos (They are played by American children this time) were cute. They looked to be around ten to twelve year olds. Courage is a girl this time around and there are two boys and two girls this time. Characters who appear in the remake are Sparky, Funky Rat, Woofer Tweeter and the Peacock and their characters were given updates. Funky looked creepy, Sparky was a lot smaller and still cute, Woofer and Tweeter looked more like robots and there is also a new character that is a caterpillar. The theme song? or at least one of their songs was ok as the kids singing it were Americans. Benita Bizarre was rumored at the 2015 Comic Con to be played by Cyndi Lauper, apparently it was misinformation. That or Cyndi was unavailable to film the pilot. Instead Lise Simms played Benita Bizarre during the pilot. I loved the new Benita and thought it was a fitting tribute to the original Martha's Benita.

Keep in mind the new Bugaloos show is geared to preschoolers and as I said before, the trailer was of an unsold pilot for Nickelodeon but the series could get picked up by any sister network Ex:CBS, ABC

My friend talked to the Krofft's after the panel at the hallway. She asked Sid if he was cool about a Bugaloos reunion. Sid was extremely cool with it as he had no idea about the whereabouts of the original Bugaloos and told my friend to talk to the cast members and have them call the Krofft office so Marty could make arrangements. Marty on the other hand was very much like yeah I know they want one, I'll see what I can do, I can't say too much as there won't be a reunion unless the pilot is sold. So all i am asking Bugaloos fans is to give the new series a chance. It maybe for preschoolers but I really want a Bugaloos reunion with the original cast.

I will update more info regarding a premiere date, and if the series has been picked up yet in the next coming months, Until then stay tuned
