Yes, Budgie is back...this time on dvd, (no more dodgy e-Bay copies eh?), and it still seems as fresh and interesting today as it did back in the 70's...
...maybe even better in some respects, because, (with only a few notable exceptions...the BBC's superb series "Life on Mars" and "Hustle" for instance), there is nothing on television now that comes remotely close to the calibre of "Budgie".

Where is the competition..."Casualty", "Emmerdale", "The Weakest Link", "Big Brother" perhaps, "Coronation Street"?...behave yourself, leave it out!!!
