Delayed release due to Sharon Tate's murder?

A trivia point here says the release was delayed since producers thought it would be in poor taste due to the murder of Sharon Tate. She was killed in August 1969, which was 6 months after the US release. Only two countries, Columbia and Spain, had release dates after the murder. I found a prior Helm film also had a similar delayed release date in Columbia, so that was not unusual.

I posted a request to delete this since it is inaccurate.
