Elora wanted an ongoing relationship with Luther - not Frank

It's complicated. ;-)

Elora invited Luther into her marriage bed. The bed she shared with Frank in THEIR hotel room - rather than Luther's. She didn't REALLY care if Frank noticed or not - and she never apologized to Frank nor let Frank see her cry about it.

"What can I say? Take care of yourself," was her words to Frank during the "Charlie is here" phone call - and would have been interpreted by Frank that she was still sleeping with Luther.

Then, after Luther apologized to her - she said "It wouldn't have happened if I didn't let it happen. Are you going to Milwaukee?" This was Luther's cue to respond "Yes. Are you going to be there?" But instead Luther made the generic response "Everyone goes there after Indianapolis."

And then basically dumped her.

At the end when Frank wants to try and work it all out, Elora was non-receptive.

Poor Frank - should have just signed the papers and walked away.

Elora said just enough to try and assuage Frank's poor crushed male ego - but no more and actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. Elora had that "spark" for Luther - not Frank. Not that I blamed her since Frank was extraordinarily non "sexy" with her their entire (presented) married life.
