What was this filmed on?
This film has a remarkable and distinctive look to it ... is that due to the film stock that was used (assuming among other things?) Was it the lighting?
shareIt was filmed on 35 mm. Many Czech new wave films that are in color have a similar look. Like "Daisies" and "Valerie and her week of Wonders". The movie does seem to have an odd color tint in parts. I'm wondering too, if it is the lighting or maybe even a distinctive Czech new wave style?

Sorry about that. Talk about me stating the obvious. At first I though maybe it could have been filmed on 16 mm that's why I checked it and found 35 mm. I'm glad there's someone else out there who enjoys this film. Not many people have seen it. It was carried on DVD at www.xploitedcinema.com for a while, but I hear it went out of print. I'll try to look for further info. on the film stock.
