Tarantino is another. He recycled the music from this film in Death Proof (2007). A homage his fanboys call it, but it's ultimately a rip off.
Using music that was used in a previous film is far from ripping anyone off. Same with De Palma. He made great films, and was inspired by the work of other directors, but if you see it as a rip off, you aren't paying enough attention.
