Great film needs to be rediscovered

Saw this cool film for the first time as a kid on Creature Features and found it totally creepy and gloomy. The photography is amazing and really sets the tone and feel. Wierd and Excellent!

I remember this on Creature Features as well! It has that strange dream/nightmare quality to it. And Sandy Dennis is amazing and Michael Burns..oh I hadn't thought about him in years since those reruns of Dragnet, he was the "Blue Faced Boy". He was so cute! Then film gets forgotten I believe because MASH was such a huge hit. You know it always reminded me a bit of "Straight On 'Til Morning" with Rita Tushingham and Shane Briant. Lost lonely people, long rainy nights, lust and murder. Gotta love it!

Hadn't heard of it until recently and just watched it this morning. What a fantastic gem! It was offbeat and mysterious.
