I remember watching this movie froma vhs rental some 4 years ago. 4 years... 37 since it's been made... only 53 votes here on IMDB. No, I guess it will never come out.

Good news for all fans of this wonderful and moving film ! I have just ordered the new DVD release from Amazon UK. It is being released on October 13 by "Optimum Home Entertainment" and is very reasonably priced. ( around $20 Australian ).

You have to have a multi-region DVD player to play it, Maurice, something that most people who like the film living outside the UK don't have and may not want to buy.
It's a tragedy that this can't be on Netflix anywhere in the world.

I´d like to see this film! I enjoy Sandy Dennis´ very fine performances.
