Pookie

Did she ever attend classes? There was no indication that she did! Maybe the book explaines more. Thoughts?

The book's a lot different than the movie. It was a good read. I definitely recommend it, but she's a lot less of an odd person in the book I think. My favorite part of the book is when she leaves 10 pennies on the ground in New York (god, I read this over 10 years ago and still recall it) and some guy picks up only 5 and she gives him a reward for picking up some of them (or something like that).

Anyways, don't go to the book to figure out the movie character. In the movie, I'd say she went to class for a bit and then didn't due to her neuroticism. Book would suggest she probably went more. I prefer the movie since I love tragic stuff (though I did see it before reading it).

And I'm so happy TCM re-ran it the other day since now I have it on my DVR again. Still waiting for that DVD! Such a great film.

I was wondering the same thing? In the the movie all she did was pester Jerry.
