Is the copy out there Complete?

I have a co-worker who tells me that the DVD copy is not the complete film. He says when he originally saw it, there were scenes showing the Train Depot people all wiped out. There was another scene with the Apache in the Trading Post, in the shadows, in a corner. I mentioned the near the end of the film scene, but he said this was early on. Does anyone recall footage being edited out from this fine film?

I cannot say, but I had a copy of Stalking Moon on VHS and it definitely had been edited and was far from complete (It was an Ace Video, not a Warner Brothers Home Video.)I was so disgusted that I threw the tape away and kept only the box. I put my own home-made tape in it (taped from TV, and complete) and am still watching it. Maybe now that Moon is on DVD I'll buy one and compare it to my homemade version. (By the way, I agree with most folks that it is one of the best westerns ever made.)

I am watching it on NetFlix now and those scenes are cut in this version too....Grrrr!

This is one of my favorite Gregory Peck westerns.
(Also I thought Eva Marie Saint was great in this film as was Robert Forster's role too.)
Much better then 'Mackenna's Gold' in my opinion.

Think OutSide of the 'Box'!

I don't know, the dvd is 109 minutes, just like all the sources say.
But the scenes you mention aren't in it.
