Imdb says the movie has 142 minutes (105 minutes in US), but Criterion release has only 90 minutes. Why is that?

The Criterion version might be the Director's Cut.

Or IMDb made a mistake?

I just watched the Criterion DVD and it's 104 minutes (no supplements). Great movie, although the third act leaves something to be desired. I'd give it a 7, but gave it 8 stars because the camerawork was amazingly beautiful to watch.
