In the scene where the hermaphrodite prophet Teresias has died, and Encolpio and Ascyltos fight the third man that helped them kidnap the prophet:
We see a pair of eyes for about 1 second, that is either watching us, or most likely, watching what we are watching. Who's eyes are those / what is that supposed to mean?
I re-watched the film again last night, and I must say I did not notice that. I'll re-re-watch it, then get back to you.
shareThere are a pair of bright lights/eyes? that momentarily appear during the confrontation on the screen. Perhaps this is what you are referring to. It seems much in keeping with Fellini's possible theme of a "science fiction film projected into the past" and the possibility that human beings are being watched.
