Which DVD version has the English dub?

I bought the region 1 version and it only had English subtitle option. Normally this would not be a problem for me but Satyricon was such a gorgeous looking film and I felt that I was constantly reading at some points and frankly missing out on the major selling point of the film. Does the region 1 release contain the English dub?

Aww just like Sister Ray said...

I am looking everywhere for an English dub.
This film seems to have been dubbed in every language but English.
If you ever find an English language audio track for this film please let me know at [email protected].

I have this film with audio in
Italian
Spanish
French
Dutch

I have seen a Russian dub yet cannot find an English Language Version
any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

IIRC, I have the dvd with the cover as shown in the icon and it has the English. Seems to not be available at Amazon though...

The Region 1 US DVD release from MGM has surprisingly good English dubbing.

reply

Surprisingly good? Some of the best British voice actors of the day were employed, including Michael Horden saying some choice words I'd never imagined I'd hear coming from the old gentleman's mouth.

Shame the deliberately loose syncing detracts from it a little.
