The film -Run A Crooked Mile

I have read that some people have tried to find a copy of this film, which has never been released. It is one of my favourite films and I was lucky enough to record it from TV on video many years ago. Having now acquired a DVD recorder I have transferred it to DVD. Considering the quality of TV and video recorders all those years ago, it is quite good. There is a slight interruption of a second or so about two thirds of the way through, which is no detriment to the film. If anyone is interested I could supply a copy.

A great movie which I saw on the original television release and which has stayed with me for 37 years. I would love to see this again if available on US VHS or DVD.

spoilers below!!

Did this movie have a scene where a note with hyrogliphics have a microdot on it and a country road with a fallen tree across it>

Bad spellers of the world Untie!

There is no microdot in this movie. However, there is a fallen tree, but it is a mechanized one controlled by the bad guys, which falls across the drive leading to "Buckley Manor", where the alleged murder took place.

It was the 1966 film Arabesque that had the note with the microdot and heiroglyphics. Run a Crooked Mile was the one that had the fallen tree (a fake one that could be lowered and raised electronically with a key.)
