Looking for similar movie

I am looking for the title of a similar movie, also from about the same time (the sixties).
It is about the conquistadores and Aztecs OR incas. One of the Spanish (Portuguese) soldiers is incarcerated, but the daughter of the chief (Montezuma?) falls in love with him while caring for him.
The movie starts with one of the indigenous blowing a shell horn, he is kind of a coast guard.
Sorry, this is very vague, I saw this movie when I was 4 or 5 years old. Really like to see it again, now that I can understand it better.
I search everywhere on any possible search word. So now I triy this.
