We never learn what brought the man down to London near the end of the film, separating him from Mij, do we?
shareI'm only guessing here, but as he seems to already be a writer by that time, as he mentions to the doctor that fishing for Mij is a distraction from getting on with writing his book, perhaps he's visiting a publisher?
