Italian 123 min version vs English 112 min version

I just watched the Italian 123 minute version. I have noted the sequences in the Italian version that do not appear on the 112 minute English one. Most of the cuts are in the very beginning of the movie. The cuts don`t really affect the story that much but it is a lot clearer with the extra sequences. Here they are (to the best of my recollection)

-When on the ship, the Captain tells Sir William that the Island is in a terrific location with water the right depth for most ships. It is home to the Banco de Espirito Santo, the Portuguese Governor's residence, the fortress with its Garrison of one thousand soldiers and the most famous brothel in the Lesser Antilles.

-Just before Sir William gets off the ship, the captain tells him to avoid the three "m"s: Mosquitoes, Mulattoes and Death (muerte)

-After meeting Teddy Sanchez and finding out that Santiago is in prison, Sir William goes to the port and sees the soldier who "greeted" him when he arrived and said "English? ". Sir William taps him on the shoulder and asks "Portuguese?" and pushes him in the water. The soldier screams from the water that Sir William be arrested. We then shift to the prison. Here most of the sequence is the same as they watch Santiago being executed. An extra bit of dialogue has the man talking to Sir William saying that the natives of the Island are not Christians and deal with their dead differently. Their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of the British consul, Mr. Shelton, who has come to bail out Sir William. They shake hands and Sir William apologizes for bothering him to which he answers that it is all part of his job (or something like that)

-When Sir William and Teddy sit at the outdoor café and before he throws coins into the crowd, Sir William asks Teddy why he dyes his hair and keeps it so straight. Teddy answers that it is because he does not feel Mulatto but white like his father and grand-father. After the business with the coins, Sir William asks when the ship returns to Europe and is told by Teddy that it will be several days to which Sir William asks what is there to do to avoid dying of boredom. From across the square Jose Dolores calls him and asks him if he wants to drink some rum.

-The very next scene has them in a brothel sitting around talking and drinking. The Madam asks if they are ready. Sir William tells Teddy that since he only likes whites he should sleep with the elderly madam and not the Mulatto prostitutes. Sir William notices Jose Dolores delivering water to the brothel.

-The next scene has the two men attending a cock fight where a fight breaks out between two of the black men who are in attendance. Sir William sees Jose Dolores break up the fight.

-Just before the Governor is assassinated he is talking to Shelton (the consul)telling him not to worry about Jose Dolores.

-When the two men are searching for Sir William in London, they go visit a woman(his landlady ?) who says that he hasn't been there for 3 years and that his trunk is still there. They then visit another woman who says her husband left on a long cruise and she did not accompany him because she can't handle long trips. She tells them he left on the boat named "Adios". I am not sure if this is supposed to be Sir William's wife(subtitles were a little vague here). In any case the two men locate the boat and talk to one of the crewmen who says Sir William is in the bar drinking.

-When sir William is going over the events of the past 10 years he speaks of an alliance treaty signed between Great Britain and Queimada. We see Teddy and Shelton sign the agreement and shake hands(in flashback) with dignitaries in attendance.

-Also during the same "going over the events of the past 10 years" sequence, Prada and Sir William have a mild argument comparing the revolution in Queimada and the French Revolution. Prada says that Jose Dolores is no Maximilien Robespierre.

-The scenes where the British and Queimada soldiers are burning down the plantations are longer in the 123 minute version. We also have a quick shot of a British soldier trying to shoot but his gun jams. He reacts angrily. I think this is the same British soldier who had been ogling the naked girls at the port in the sequence when the British soldiers arrive in Queimada.

That is all I collected. I realize that there is a 132 minute restored version so obviously there were other cuts. The 123 minute version works well and is easy to understand.
