What sequences were shot in Morocco?

I have read in many different sources that most of the film was shot in Caratagena Columbia but that Brando walked out at one point and refused to finish the film in Columbia because filming conditions were unbearable. Apparently it was completed in Marrakesh Morocco. Does anyone know what sequences were shot in Morocco? Danny Peary's Cult Movies book (1981)also claims that some of the footage was shot in the Virgin Islands. IMDB also suggests some of the film was shot in Saint Malo, France.

Does anyone have any info on these location changes or a good source that would have this info?

This is one of my all time favorite films. I have just seen the Italian version that runs 2 hours 3 minutes which is vastly superior to the 112 min American release version.
