About 31 minutes into the film, Putney goes to bed with his future wife, and as they are making out, he tears a poster off the wall above the bed.
I'm interested in the poster - it looks like it may be an image from another film? But I'm not sure. Can anyone provide details?
As I recall, it was a poster of Sidney Poitier, though I can't remember what movie it was from. Two possibilities: a) Putney felt Poitier was not enough of a "black revolutionary." b) Putney is going to make the girl forget that she ever heard of Poitier. Or maybe both
