Romy Schneider Coming Out of the Pool

First scene. That is what a woman is supposed to look like, and what they did look like in the pre-anorexic era. The difference between boyish and well-toned is illustrated here.

There, daddy, do I get a gold star?

Agree. Romy had a gorgeous figure and looked great in both the black bikini and the white one-piece she wore sitting on the terrace combing her hair. Delon was an idiot to have dumped her and now regrets having done so.

Romy is quite possibly the most breathtaking actress in the history of the silver screen. With her innocent but beautify features, if she was a few years younger, which would've aligned timewise, she should've been cast in Kubricks Lolita. I disagree with Stanleys choice, he never was any good with actresses and actors except for Kidman and Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut, which would never have worked without those 2. If there ever was a film SO dependent on casting...... Kidman should have shown us more of her body though, we didn't get to see her that well.

You couldn't be more wrong. Both on Schneider (her creepy eyes scare the hell out of me) and on the casting in Kubrick's films, especially Eyes Wide Shut.

The thin frame first came about and was popular in the 30s and during the 60s Twiggy popularized the thin look, Audrey Hepburn did it since the 50s.
