on dvd?
Does anyone know if the phantom tollbooth will be coming to dvd anytime soon since to get a copy in canada seems to cost $200 and thats a little costly to relive a childhood memory
shareI dont know if its going to be on dvd, but if you really want it, you can check amazon.com, they have some vhs copies. I heard it was released in laserdisc too but Im not sure
shareYou should also look in ebay. I have it on VHS and I'm thinking about making copies of it on DVD with my dad's DVD recorder.
(Not to sell and distribute, of course, but VHS tapes can be easily destroyed...and maybe I'd make a copy for a friend if they wanted it...but I wouldnt ask for money of course.)
Well then buddy, you want to make me a copy? :) ha, just joking, i'm buying it on Ebay right now. i haven't seen the movie in years, but it was probably my all time favorite as a young'n. good move on making it onto a DVD. the thought crossed my mind as well.
shareI own it on Laserdisc. I was able to pick up a brand new copy on Ebay, but it set me back about $60. Well worth it IMO, considering it's the best quality avalible until/if it gets released on DVD.
shareI saw it on DVD the other day on Ebay. Not too pricey. You can always just buy it on VHS and have it trasfered but that might run you around $30cdn.
