Was Butch home-schooled when he was 15?

Because if I was him and I wasn't, I would most definitely not do this movie. If I were 12, maybe. But, I know that if a 15 year old boy were to act in this film, he'd get made fun of so much when he got back to school, hehe. If Butch wasn't home-schooled, I give him major props, because he has guts. :D

This film aired on TCM last week. I remember it but it's rare for it to be shown on tv. According to the trivia section the film didn't come out until 1970 even though it was completed in 1968. So Butch Patrick was by then 17. So mostly likely he was not in school anymore. Like a lot of child actors you can see he was very small for his age. It was common then and still is for teens & young adults of small stature to play minors. The African-American girl on 'Boy Meets World was in her 30's when that show ended. She played a high school then college student. The actor who played the brother on Hannah Montanna, Jason Earles, was 29 when the show started. he's now on the show 'Kickin' It'. He played a kid in junior high school on HM. An actor playing a jr high school student from another country on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Vinicius Machado, was 24-25 when he on the show.
