I like the Dallamano version much better

When I saw this was to be on TCM I was disappointed this was not the Dallamano version. The Dallamano is a much more intimate story without the supernatural BS. Think "Bitter Moon", a film that really tries to explore pain/pleasure and beware of getting what you want. Hopefully TCM will show this version someday.
