Did they really need to dub his voice?

That entire segment went on for like 25 minutes and it just took me out of the movie. When Bond is going undercover the actor is supposed to be playing Bond pretending to be someone else (Bray). But in this case due to the dubbing and the limited acting range of Lazenby it seems he’s just playing Sir Hillary Bray, and boy did that voice get annoying very quickly.
