If you could replace any of the actors from any of the films....

Who would you replace?

Personally if it were me the only changes I would make would be:
1) Sean Connery would have been in On Her Majesty's Secret Service instead of Lazenby and then in Diamonds Are Forever we got a serious revenge story like we should have gotten
2) Roger Moore would have come back one more time for The Living Daylights as I really don't think the tone of the film was appropriate for Timothy Dalton who I really don't think was a good Bond actor
3) Licence To Kill would have been Pierce Brosnan's debut.

So here is how things would have gone down:
SEAN CONNERY:
- Dr. No
- From Russia With Love
- Goldfinger
- Thunderball
- You Only Live Twice
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service
- Diamonds Are Forever
ROGER MOORE:
- Live And Let Die
- The Man With The Golden Gun
- The Spy Who Loved Me
- Moonraker
- For Your Eyes Only
- Octopussy
- A View To A Kill
- The Living Daylights
PIERCE BROSNAN:
- Licence To Kill
- Goldeneye
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- The World Is Not Enough
- Die Another Day
DANIEL CRAIG:
- Casino Royale
- Quantum Of Solace
- Skyfall
- Spectre
- Bond 25

- Cast Lazenby in Diamonds are Forever.
- Cast Timothy Dalton in View to a Kill, giving Dalton's Bond a trilogy.
- Cast Sean Bean as Bond and Brosnan as Trevelyan. I always felt that Sean Bean would have been an excellent 007 as opposed to Brosnan.

My alternate Bond-verse

Connery (1962-1967)
-Dr. No
-From Russia With Love
-Goldfinger
-Thunderball
-You Only Live Twice

George Lazenby (1969-1982)
-OHMSS
-Diamonds are Forver
-Live and Let Die
-TMWTGG
-The Spy Who Loved Me
-Moonraker
-For Your Eyes Only
-Octopussy

I know George was meant to sign for seven more after OHMSS, meaning that in '83 he would have gone up against Connery's NSNA)

Dalton (1985-1991)
-AVTAK
-The Living Daylights
-Licence To Kill
-The Property of a Lady (Dalton needed an extra movie IMO)

Brosnan (1995-2002)
-Goldeneye
-Tomorrow Never Dies
-TWINE
-Die Another Day

-Craig
Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace
Skyfall
Spectre
No Time to Die

I would remove Licence to Kill from existence.

Then I would go with Brosnan starting with The Living Daylights and carrying on through to a non reboot Casino Royale.

I would then remove Daniel Craig and his series of films altogether. Not purely due to my dislike of Craig but more so because his films give us nothing really in terms of a legacy of enjoyable, rewatchable movies. They follow a boring soap opera serial storyline which is muddied even further by the real world acquisition of the Spectre rights by EON. So you get this nonsense Quantum was really Spectre pointless retconning.

I'd bin them all and perhaps we could have had a decent run of real Bond films perhaps with Idris Elba or Clive Owen over the same time frame.
