She was happy for him but it was obvious she was quite distraught at the thought of losing him too.
I thought Lois Maxwell was terrific in that scene, she really made me feel for her. It's a shame she never got much sceeentime in the other films.
That was probably a good part of it, but she also could have just been excited and happy for him too.
shareThe weird thing is that George Lazenby is to this day, the youngest actor to play James Bond (I think he was not even 30 yet when he did OHMSS). Lois Maxwell as already in her early 40s at the time, so it inadvertently, makes her out to be a cougar.
shareIts not ALL about sex, folks. Can´t you cry when you loose someone you care for in general? Their unique brother/sister relationship never allowed any closer stuff, so she cries because she would not see him anymore in the office nor out on the field...
