R.I.P. Charlton Heston

Just heard that Charlton Heston passed away. Since my neighborhood Blockbuster probably doesn't have Soylent Green and someone else has likely already rented Planet of the Apes, I will console myself by watching my copy of "Number One". As a Saints fan, since they are two-time Super Bowl champs in this film, I feel it also qualifies as science fiction. :) R.I.P, Chuck...

Where did you get your copy of Number One. I have seen it a few times on the Late Late Movies, but, have never seen it available for purchase. Frankly, it should be in ever NFL fans' movie library. Tulane Stadium, Danny A., Jon Gillum, and of course, Billy "old whiskey" Kilmer who they had Charlton Heston portray.

There are quite a few Charlton Heston films that are not available for purchase, and occasionally not seen on cable: "Number One", "Counterpoint", "The Pigeon that Took Rome", "Diamond Head", "Lucy Gallant", "The Savage", "Arrowhead", "The Naked Jungle", "The Far Horizon", "Three Violent People", "Bad for Each Other". I believe that "Number One" has been seen on Turner Classic Movies in the past, and would like to see it again.
