I finally watched the last 8 minutes on YouTube b/c I had seen this movie when I was 15 I believe (more years ago than I'd like to admit). I didn't get it way back then, and you know what???

I STILL DON'T GET THE *beep* THING!!!!!!

Maybe I need to see the rest of the movie to make some real sense of it, but sounds like most posters here have, and it's still described as nonsense, meaningless, and the like.

Can someone explain?? Is it all flashback, or what?

I just saw the whole movie last night and I don't get the ending either. Anybody know what happened?

I think it was supposed to be a prophecy dream like that shown as the Dead of Night (1945) where the main character talks about a dream he always has but forgets when it starts again. We return to the place he has seen in his recurring dream and it is hinted that the events are to occur as he dreamed.

Remember as Vince Rinaud wakes a phone is ringing reminding him of the party that night...the party where in his dream he is disfigured.

Also like Nightmare in Wax events near the end of Dead of Night go totally over the top bonkers thought since the 1945 film is an anthology where the main character had to revisit the characters from each of the stories goes on for much longer.
