Deus ex Machina

Once again it is amazing how when a TV or radio is turned on the immediate broadcast concerns EXACTLY the story we are watching / and then in an even more extraordinary manner, the actor turns it OFF / at a point where the broadcast might be telling the progress of the investigation or whatever.

This happened at least twice in this film.

...because, as we learn at the end of the film, it's a premonitory dream.

Still doesn't explain the amazing coincidence of TV being 'synched' - nor the other 1,456 times it happens in films - with or without 'dreams'

reply

Doesn't happen in much I watch: historical drama, historical fiction, westerns.

Seems there's a reason for that, wonder what it could be? ;-p

reply

Guess that'll do it - except for the 'interesting' telegrams in Westerns

/as for the 'modern' stuff it's also amazing that the concerned parties always seem to turn the news OFF when the item comes up)
