Most terrible performances

1. Al Kooper - guy couldn't sing for his life
2. The Byrds - such struggle for coherence ... McGuinn was terrible and Crosby was inane
3. Scott McKenzie - he and the backing band for Mamas and Papas never *beep* met

1/10

- don't worry, that's just my signature there.

John Phillips himself said that in his opinion the Mamas and the Papas gave the worst performance because they were so busy as organizers of the festival that they had no time to rehearse and were terribly out of tune. Personally I though their performance of "I Call Your Name" was one of the best of the entire weekend. It's a shame about Al Kooper because he is such a great musician and was so fantastic as part of the Blues Project and the original Blood, Sweat & Tears.
