I think this is the first G rated movie I have ever seen that has a Frontal Female topless scene
Not that I'm complaining or anything... and I don't really blame them, the Topless scene is maybe 3 frames all together, not something that would have been an issue at the time the movie was released.
It does sort of make me want to find the "full" version, to see if there are any other interesting tidbits that WERE cut for the American version.
Thank you very much for that tantalising news, but could you enhance it by revealing when the topless scene takes place and whether the female in question is Susan Hampshire?
I'm recording it off TCM this morning...
About halfway through the film the French doctor and her companions find a pond and go skinny dipping. The Italians come along and steal their clothes, but the doctor happens to see them do this and sneaks through the bushes to steal the Italians' clothes. You just barely see something. In the hostel when Cuthbert changes everyone's shoes around, the doctor is again seen for a brief second or two, falling out of her pyjama top. I use the word "falling out" figuratively as she is very small.
Let's just say that God doesn't believe in me.
