"Johnny Dark" was a movie about a race car driver who is trying ton convince a conservative American auto company's management to develop and race an all new sports car.

"Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies" (1969) is about a race car driver trying to convince a conservative nineteen twenties British auto maker to develop a new sports car.

In both movies the race car driver is played by Tony Curtis. Enough said.
