Fun Movie...

I remember being 14 years old and going to the mall theater with my buddy to try and get in and see "Last Summer" which included some intense sex scenes we wanted to see. The ticket lady would not let us into the R-rated movie so we bought tickets to this G-rated movie instead. I think we had a better time at Those Daring Young Men and Their Jaunty Jalopies (aka MCOB) than the movie we originally intended to see. Great fun movie and the chance to see some boobs when the three French girls went swimming!

I agree! When I saw this movie on tv for the first time, I danced along and it was just ooh so enjoyable. I loved it. Loves Curtis' performance the most!

Absolutely "rip, rip, ripping, Sir!"

Yeah, it's a rip-off of Those Magnificent Men, but it's still a fun and entertaining movie. I like it better than the other Tony Curtis car racing film, "The Great Race," and Terry Thomas and Eric Sykes played a much more entertaining--and less hammy--villains than Jack Lemmon and Peter Falk did.

On the other hand, Susan Hampshire--pretty though she may have been--couldn't hold a candle to Natalie Wood.

I gave it an 8, for the cast--loved Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, Gert Frob, et al.
