I personally think this is Waters' worst full length film, but I'd still buy it! Just because I think it's his worst film doesn't mean I don't like it! I realize there would probably be problems obtaining all the music, but there should be some way to work around this!

The music would probably cost millions of dollars in rights. Hardly worth a $2,000 film. Unfortunately a DVD release looks unlikely.

In my original post I said, "there should be some way around this," as far as the rights to the music are concerned. Don't you remember in the late 80's when both "Mondo Trasho," and "Multiple Maniacs" were released on videocassette? I don't exactly think they were legit releases, but we carried them at a local video store that was part of a big nationwide chain. Also, a nationwide video seller (Suncoast) carried them as well. I don't remember hearing about any lawsuits concerning the video releases. I guess my original post was more of a hint to do the exact same thing with DVD.
Cant they just release the film but with a different soundtrack, or covers of the songs in the film.
