Horrendously awful

Staggeringly atrocious...

I forced myself through the whole thing, only as a matter of thoroughness. I laughed twice... more of a chuckle actually.

The always excellent Fritz Weaver was interesting in an unusual role for him. Just about the only decent thing in the movie.

It was sort of interesting to see some of the familiar character actors from that era.

That's all the positives I can come up with.

I can't imagine even in 1969 this was considered funny.

It was just as funny as the Don Knotts films of the 60's, like Ghost & Mr. Chicken, etc., and those are funny films...

I liked it...

This was done to cash in on their "Laugh-In" TV show. I was great fan of the show, so I naturally went to see this this. Evan at age 12, I knew it was a rip-off. I'd like to see it again just for nostalgia purposes.

Well obviously if you didn't find it funny, no one could have found it funny over 40 years ago.

The movie capitalized on popularity of Rowan An Martin's Laugh In TV series which is also not as funny today as perceived in late 1960s. I'd guess this mediocre film did okay as part of a double feature in neighborhood and drive in theaters. 😰
