Excellent

I hadn't seen this movie in years, but I always remembered much about it. Especially the acting.

I recently bought it from Amazon and it didn't disappoint. Good Story, great acting.

Especially from Stella Stevens. I know that she's mostly known from the Poseidon Adventure, and yes, she was excellent in that too.

But my personal opinion is that in this film, this was the best acting she ever did. Kudos to her.

Yes, she did a great job, but the movie was predictable.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't figure out who did it until halfway through.

The actors were good, but it almost feels like a 1972 TV movie.

Pretty much agree, although I can't quite decide whether Mad Room is a 1960s-style schlock masterpiece à la William Castle, or camp black comedy with (unintended) humor. Either way I enjoyed it immensely, even if it did have the look and feel of a well done TV movie from the era. The best for me, aside from the novel location of Vancouver Island (?), was the three veteran actresses: a very sexy Stella Stevens, worse-for-wear Shelley Winters, and best of all, alas in a minor role, a scenery-chewing Beverly Garland.
