I saw this film many times at the cinema, often travelling long distances to see re-runs. Also saw it on tv once.
Now I am building a library of DVD's featuring films that I have enjoyed immensley in the past. Gradually films are being released on DVD that allows me to build this library, yet so many good films are ignored. Is there a DVD anywhere of "Lock up you Daughters". I am sure that there would be at least a small market if it was made available.
This has to be one of the funniest movies ever! I certainly would buy a DVD. I look every so often and hope one day it will be offered.
shareColumbia Pictures was the original distributers, so it stands to reason they would hold the DVD rights....start a letter writing campaign and they will undoubtedly take notice!

In 1990, a PAL format VHS tape was released in the UK by RCA/Columbia Picures International.
There have been no other commercial releases. I converted it to NTSC DVD. This is a scan of the VHS cover.

The original PAL tape turns up on eBay from time to time. However, most listings of this movie that appear on eBay are bootleg copies, either copied from the PAL vhs release, or taped off TV. Perhaps it airs on TV in the UK, but I know it has not aired in USA in the last 5 years.
