Premired 40 years ago tonight

Yes folks, this great Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas classic premired 40 years ago tonight on the NBC Network. Loved it then, love it now. I, my brother and father will be viewing it tonight. The last time I remember seeing it was on Christmas Eve, 1984. And, just to let ya'll know, next Sunday, Johnny Whitaker, the lad who played the angle, will be 50. I and my family will be viewing some of his other work on that day.
