OK, so there was no father in the family (single parent for 1969) and I suppose he was the breadwinner for them, but did he have to be such an utter JERK to Billy, CRUEL to Billy's kestrel and such a creep to women? It was so evil of him to kill Kes just because Billy wouldn't put some stupid bet on the horses, but then again, to him, money was more important than some bird. After all, he did say he could get another one. I only hope that Billy did.
