that film wit bird

I saw this film t'other day and it were such a rite good shook i nearly spilled me tetleys! I just come in from't mill wit two lasses round't corner like, and we promply flicked on't telebox for a nights viewing. Well when we saw kes were on we were made up, made up i tell thee. I'm not one for namby pamby flicks like the ones you see on these days, i'm a mans man and i know what i like, and i tell thee that i do like kes. But the point i am trying to make is this - Did tom cruise deserve an oscar in rain man? or not? cause you know, dustin hoffman got one, but then he was really good, was tom cruise as good? people say he was robbed but was he? was he as good as dustin hoffman or not? was he actually better? i don't know, i'm tempted to say that he deserved one but then i think that i am being too generous, but am i? he was good! the question is was it oscar good?
