Fun, fun, fun! But not quite there.

Okay, I enjoyed the movie, but it just wasn't much until the heist, and even more to the point actually, until the chase after heist. The whole planning business was long-drawn out and not particularly well done.

But the second part of the movie made up for it. The stunts with the Minis were awesome. But I almost felt like I was watching an extended ad for Mini for that part of the movie - probably because I've seen ads for the Mini based on this movie! I had also seen the Bourne movie where he effectively does a lot of the same stuff with a Mini, so that made what they did here seem a bit trite by comparison. Still fun, but it would have been a lot more fun to have seen this in the theater in 1969 before all this other stuff came out.

And that ending? Great. Wow. Nice! Well done! I thought they were just going to drive off into the sunset, or, after that became impossible, that they were going to resolve it. But leaving it the way they did? EXCELLENT!

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
